Sapporo, more than just beer

Check out the clock tower, the old Hokkaido government building and the Sapporo TV Tower. Okay, attractions are few when compared to Tokyo but the city is easier to explore on foot and the brewing tradition dating back to the 1870s provide some great refreshment. Try the Sapporo Beer Garden and Museum.
