Beaulieu-sur-Mer and the La Reserve

James Gordon Bennett Jnr, the owner ofthe New York Herald and the man who sent Henry Morton Stanley off to Africa in search of Dr Livingstone, built a decent hotel here, which now funtions as La Reserve de Beaulieu and Spa. Archaeologist Theodore Reinach's Villa Grecque Kerylos is open to the public.
