Where to go in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
« on: August 03, 2007, 08:58:38 PM »

There are many historic buildings, mainly of Georgian appearance, restored and renovated after a disastrous fire in 1725 destroyed much of the old town.

The surrounding area has many picturesque walks and beautiful villages. Waddesdon Manor and Stowe Landscape Gardens are both owned by the National Trust and are a short drive away and both worth a visit.
