« on: August 03, 2007, 08:29:22 PM »

Marlow is a charming historic town situated on the River Thames and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with the Chiltern Hills to the north.

To appreciate Marlow from the River Thames, go on a pleasure boat trip - these are run are run by Salter's Steamers (tel: 01865 243421, http://www.salterssteamers.co.uk/) and go to Henley and return, departing at 1.30pm from Higginson Park, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from May until September and to Windsor and return via Cookham and Maidenhead, departing at 9.30am from Higginson Park, on Mondays and Fridays from May until September.
